With the upcoming contract negotiations just around the corner the Committee and Business Representatives want to know what’s important to the membership. What issues you would like to see addressed during the contract negotiations.
Some of the tools we use to determine this is through:
- Union Meetings – Good of the IAM
- Face to Face conversations with the members
- Past Grievances
- Membership Survey
- Contract Proposals
IAM Local Lodge 2003 has created this negotiations website in-order to communicate with and get instant feedback from the membership. Another benefit from having this site is the use of on-line forms that can be filled out and submitted any time, day or night.
We have created an on-line contract proposal form that you can utilize to to submit a contract proposal or, if you wish, you can download a copy of the contract proposal from to print and submit to your Shop Steward or Grievance Negotiating Committee Person at your work location.
Unfortunately we are unable to create an on-line survey form or provide a download link for the membership survey forms. This is a service from the International’s Strategic Resources Department and the survey forms can not be copied or printed on certain types of printers. When the surveys are handed out to the membership please fill them out and return them to your Shop Steward or Grievance Negotiating Committee Person in a timely manor. The sooner we can get the surveys returned to the International the sooner we can receive the results.
100% of the contract proposals and survey comment sheets will be read by the Committee.
